The Summit Deets
The Test Prep Success Summit will be taking place virtually with a variety of trainings to choose from each day.
I don't know about you, but I prefer to leave my house as little as possible. With that being said, the Test Prep Success Summit will take place online wherever you have internet access (sweatpants and ponytails encouraged!)
Presentations will be about 20-30 minutes in length. The presentations will be available to view on that day only to encourage you to join us live and take action along with hundreds of other middle school Math teachers!
Does it include a Professional Development (PD) certificate?
There is an option available if you upgrade your ticket for you to get a PD certificate good for 6 hours. This would be a fantastic way to not only learn what you personally want to learn as you start prepping for state testing, but also as documentation that you can add to your continuing education files!
There are a lot of summits, trainings, and workshops out there. So what makes this one different?
First, this summit was created specifically for middle school Math teachers. This isn't general advice for any teacher out there. Every single presentation is tailored specifically for middle school Math teachers and what we need, making it a whole lot more impactful.
The Test Prep Success Summit is all about providing you with relevant professional development that you can implement right away.
Check out the session topics below and let's get pumped!

Will the sessions be for teachers in my state? What standards and what test?
The test prep strategies are to show you HOW to review and practice for whatever the test looks like in your state. What you learn at The Test Prep Success Summit will apply to your own unique type of test because we're designing the sessions with engaging review and practice strategies that don't feel like your typical test reviews. The sessions will review best practices to ensure these strategies work no matter what state or state test your students are taking!
What can I get out of this event besides 'just' test prep resources?
Hey, I'm right there with you. I DON'T want to just "teach to the test," either. That's why what we show you will be highly applicable to all kinds of lessons you'll use throughout the year. What that means for you is that yes, you'll definitely want to implement these strategies and resources NOW as you lead your students through various review and practice for the test in your neck of the woods. . . But more than that, it means you'll have specific, exciting, ready-made lessons and strategies to use again and again throughout the school year as well.
No problem! Shoot an email over to kathy@prealgebrateachers.com and we'll get back to you within 2 business days.
I’m a coffee-drinking, dog loving, sometimes I comb my hair, middle school math teacher helping other math teachers inspire and engage students! When I first started my teaching career over 13 years ago, I was given a key to my classroom and was told "Good Luck." I had no support and no resources. Let's be real, the resources I did have were crap! I knew there had to be a better way for us middle school math teachers to feel successful in the classroom and teach with ease.
The Test Prep Success Summit was born out of a need and desire to support middle school Math teachers with actual professional development and training specific to our needs. Sitting in PD that is not relevant to our subject area is such a waste of time and I am so not here for it.
When I'm not crunching numbers and solving equations in the Los Angeles sun, you can find me eating french fries, lifting heavy weights in CrossFit, and re-watching (for the hundredth time!) episodes of Castle and Schitts Creek.
